Kurt Biederwolf is currently Chair of the Electronic Production and Design department at Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. He has been a leader of music technology-related performances, demonstrations, and clinics throughout the United States, Europe, Japan, and Malaysia.

Since 1991 he has been active as a composer, sound designer, and keyboardist for national and regional television and radio commercials and broadcasts. While affiliated with Crushing Enterprises in New York City, Kurt participated in campaigns for Molson, Chevrolet, Ford, Pontiac, Bacardi, Lipton, Bayer, Coke, Kodak, AMEX, and other national clients. For Verité Music in Boston, he has written, arranged and performed on numerous commercials including Gillette, Spalding, TJMAXX, and Ocean Spray, promotions for syndicated television shows, TV miniseries’, and documentaries, including NOVA’s Peabody Award-winning The Odyssey of Life series, Apollo 13: To the Edge and Back, the Evolution series, and the Rx For Survival series.

Further work includes music for CBS’ As the World Turns, and ABC’s One Life to Live, which earned him Daytime Emmy nominations in 2007 and 2008, and 2010. Kurt has also created sound design and music production for internet-game company Music Playground, and has created scores for New York-based Bilous-DiBucci Music, for clients including Hasbro, Wendy’s, Trane, Panasonic, and many others.
