Chris Child is a four time Emmy-nominated composer, producer and recording artist. He lives and works in New York City and writes music for television, independent films, video games and commercials.
His music is featured in the Harmonix video games Amplitude, Frequency, and Phase. He has composed music for independent films, including the award-winning documentary Silences by director Octavio Graham. His music has been featured in several national commercials including spots for General Mills, Sharp, Crest, Nike, Olay, and Loreal.
Chris is also known as Kodomo , a moniker for his electronic music project involving video art collaboration. He has since released his debut album (Still Life) and has performed in New York, Montreal, Barcelona, Paris, and Tokyo. His music is regularly featured on NPR’s Morning Edition, This American Life and All Things Considered. Under kodomo, he has done numerous remixes for bands including “*Freezepop”, “Omar Faruk Tekbilek” and Symbion Project*.
